Rock Salt Milk Bar – Artisan Ice Cream & Gourmet Cookies in Newnan, GA

We stopped by for some ice cream and were happy to find out that they also had vegan options for my daughter who is allergic to dairy and eggs. She really enjoyed her ice cream and didn't have any issues. They also had cookies and other treats. Service was great and it was all in all a very pleasant experience!

Some of the best cookies I’ve had, love the chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and the brookie. Will always come back!

Rock Salt Milk Bar is such a gem! Their dedication to sourcing locally and using high-quality ingredients shines through in every bite. The Toffee & Salt is rich, buttery, and perfectly balanced (please never get rid of this flavor!), while the Berry is fresh, tangy, and bursting with real fruit. I’d love to see a Vanilla with Apple Pie flavor for the fall! The only improvement I’d suggest is making the writing on the glass more visible and adding a full flavor list that can be read even from the back of the line. We really enjoy our ice cream every single time! Thanks for a quality local treat.

This place was crazy busy tonight! I am told by the locals that it is completely normal for it to be this busy. The ice cream was good but the waffle cones are warm and fresh! They make them right there in front of you! The have interesting flavors for the adventurer type and simple ones too. The store is adorable and staff is incredibly friendly! Everyone here was working very hard!

Cozy and charming! Super nice staff, and as I stopped by towards the closing, I can tell you, they take pride in making the place clean and tidy - detail cleaned every single chair, table, glass, appliances, … everything! I haven’t seen this in quite some time. Highly appreciated! Flavorful coffee! I only drink black, but they have a great machine and the beans, so it was really good. Bakeries are delicious, I forgot the name of it but was chocolaty and you can tell they use good ingredients based on the texture and taste. Well done!

This ice cream shop is magical. They had such an amazing selection of ice creams and other desserts such as pies, cookies, and brownies. The ice cream choice I had was coconut milk chocolate and a scoop of carmelized banana. They paired spectacularly and I wish I could come back. Unfortunately I am a tourist, but I plan to revisit this place if I come back!

The flavors are amazing and unique and wonderful. This was my second visit and I can't stop thinking about the dark chocolate (like brownie mix but better , the brittle & salt *gasp*, and the orange cardamom (so delicate and sweet). You can get half scoops, too, so you can taste more flavors.
